Description:

X-Trant 140mg is a anti-cancer chemotherapy drug classified as an "antimicrotubule agent," and it also has hormonal therapy features. It is cell cycle specific. It acts on the micro tubule structure and function of the cell by attaching to the micro tubule-associated proteins. 

It helps in the treatment of prostate cancer that has progressed or spread to other parts of the body. This medicine is not recommended to be use by females, children, and adolescents.

Dosage:

The recommended daily dose is 14 mg per kg of body weight (ie, one 140 mg capsule for each 10 kg or 22 lb of body weight), given in 3 or 4 divided doses. Average dosage range of 10 to 16 mg per kg per day is needed to treat patient as the study shows in USA.

Patients should be advised to take X Trant Capsules at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Swallow X Trant capsule with water. Milk products, Milk and calcium-rich foods or drugs (such as calcium-containing antacids) must not be taken simultaneously with X Trant.
