Velpanat tablets contain sofosbuvir and velpatasvir. This drug reduces the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which helps your immune system to fight the infection and may help your liver recover. It is used to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C which is a viral infection of the liver. It may be sometimes be used with another antiviral medication.

Velpanat 400mg/100mg Tablet is used in combination with other medications such as ribavirin, daclatasvir and peginterferon to treat chronic hepatitis C. It functions by reducing the hepatitis C virus in the body. This helps to keep liver disorders such as cirrhosis and liver cancer at bay.

Usage:

This medicine should be taken according to dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
