Capnat Tablet is a medicine used for treating cancer. Capnat Tablet is an anti-metabolite used for chemotherapy for treating patients suffering from various cancers. Capnat Tablet is used in the treatment of breast, colon or rectal, pancreatic, gastric, ovarian, oesophageal. It comes as a tablet which is consumed after having food.

Direction for use:

Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor or physician.

Take the tablets within 30 minutes after the meal (breakfast and dinner) and swallow it as whole with water.

Capnat is basically taken for 14 days followed by a 7 day rest period (when no tablets are taken). This 21-day period is one treatment cycle

If you take more CAPNAT as prescribed, contact your doctor as soon as possible before taking the next dose.

You might get the following side effects if overdosed feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, inflammation or ulceration of the gut or mouth, pain or bleeding from the intestine or stomach or bone marrow depression.

If you forget to take CAPNAT 500 MG

Do not take the missed dose.

• Vomiting
• Abdominal pain
• Hair loss
• Low white blood cell count
• Blurred vision
• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight
• Muscle or joint pain
• Loss of appetite
• Bone pain

Warnings:

Before using this medicine consult your doctor, if you:

• Are allergic to the generic Capecitabine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Have severely low levels of white cells or platelets in the blood (leucopenia, neutropenia or thrombocytopenia)
• Have severe liver or kidney or heart problems
• Have brain diseases (for example cancer that has spread to the brain) or nerve damage (neuropathy).
• Have calcium imbalance
• Have diabetes
• Have diarrhoea
• Have imbalance of ions in your blood

Storage:

1. Children should be kept out of reach of this medicine.
2. Expired medicine should not be consumed.
3. Store at room temperature (15-25 C)
