Description:

Gefticip Tablet is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. It is used for the patients in which it has spread to other parts of the body, who have abnormal epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) genes, and who have not had previous treatment for cancer.

Direction of use:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has recommended you.

The dose recommended by doctor is usually one 250 mg tablet per day on same time.

Do not take antacids 2 hours before or 1 hour after taking GEFTINAT 250MG tablet.

If you have trouble swallowing the tablet, dissolve it in half a glass of still water. Do not use any other liquids. Do not crush the tablet. Swirl the water until the tablet has dissolved.

If you take more GEFTINAT 250MG

If you have taken more tablets than you should, talk to a doctor straight away.

If you forget to take GEFTINAT 250MG

Take the missed tablet as soon as you remember, if it is 12 hours until your next dose.

Skip the missed dose as it is less than 12 hours. Then take the next tablet at the same time like on each day.

Do not take two tablets at the same time to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you stop taking GEFTINAT 250MG

Do not stop taking this medicine without doctor’s consultancy.
